Dates can be held with a 10% payment of the hiring fee. All fees (including damage deposit) are to be paid no later than 4 weeks prior to the event.

Cancellations charges are as follows:

4 weeks+ notice = 100% refund

4-2 weeks notice = 50% refund

Less than 2 weeks = 0% refund

Our opening hours are :

Monday – Thursday 9am – 10pm

Friday – Saturday 9am – 11.30pm

Sunday  9am – 10pm

All entertainment must stop at 11.30pm and the hall/surroundings vacated by 12 midnight.

Hall measurements are 16.76m x 13.41m  x 5.18m – L shaped. The maximum number of people the hall can accommodate is 150. 100 in a formal dinner layout

There are 10 large round tables (1.5m), 9 rectangular tables (150 x 75cm), 100 chairs.

Wifi is also available.

No, parties for 13 – 25 year olds are not allowed.

You will need a licence if you sell alcohol or if alcohol is included in the price of a ticket for an event. You do not need a licence if you give your guests alcohol.

You will need to contact the council direct to obtain a licence.

You will have sole use of the areas hired.

Yes. For children’s parties we recommend 30 minutes to set up and 30 minutes to pack away minimum.

Yes the kitchen is included with the main hall booking.

No the community room is hired out at a separate rate. Please consult the current hire rates in the hire charges.

Medium fridge, warming cupboard on request, double range cooker, commercial dishwasher. Mugs for making tea and coffee, basic cutlery and crockery. Washing up liquid is available, please bring your own bin bags. Take rubbish home with you.

These are loaned on request. There is a kitchen store cupboard containing cutlery and crockery for 100 guests. These include large plates, small plates and bowls, cutlery and 2 large warming cupboards. Please request upon booking if you wish to make use of it.

No please bring your own if required. Our premise licence requires us to have doors and window vents closed when music is being played.

Silver hooks have been fitted around the room; these are perfect for banners, bunting or voile decorations. If you wish to stick up any items please do not stick to the painted walls. Items can be placed around the metal ceiling bars.

No the fire alarm is very sensitive and smoke will trigger the alarm and disrupt your party.

Yes the garden area is for use by hall users, please ensure doors are kept shut when microphones or music is playing. The garden area is fully contained and safe for children to play in.

We ask that users leave the hall in the condition they find it. Access is given to the cleaning equipment in the kitchen, normally the floor requires sweeping and any spillages require mopping up. Please wipe down the kitchen surfaces.

The deposit is held against breakage and damage and is returned once the hall is checked after your event. The full hire fee is due before the event.
